RTMP Stream Subscription

This example demonstrates a player set up using RTMP Stream Subscription (FCSubscribe). This functionality is used by CDN's such as Akamai, Edgecast and Limelight for live streaming. It is also used by Wowza Media Server for configuring multiple servers in a liveedge / liverepeater setup.

The player configuration for this is identical to a standard RTMP configuration, with the addition of setting the rtmp.subscribe option to true.

Note that, as of JW Player 5.6, this functionality works in combination with dynamic streaming. Player versions before 5.6 will show unreliable quality switching behaviour.
