Overlay Region Restriction Question

hi,

we have bought and started using jwplayer and OVA add-on on our web site and we have a problem with region sizing for an overlay ad we have.

our ad server is sending this response http://ad.reklamport.com/rpgetad.ashx?VAST=1&tt=t_acunn_midroll_800x700&rnd=34526894270 and this is my configuration: http://pastie.org/private/njecgoy81dmivvwgzoubnw

my question is how do i set a position for the region and restrict the overlay ad to there? an example of this can be seen at http://www.acunn.com/video/yetenek-sizsiniz/halit-incedayinin-iluzyon-gosterileri/336.

Hi,

So you'd like the overlay to be positioned in the center of the screen at the bottom with a fixed (quite small) width?

Hi,

Well normally (given that you are running the latest release from the OVA developer site - RC5 or higher), you'd just do this:

                  "position": "auto:bottom",

                  "tag": "http://ad.reklamport.com/rpgetad.ashx?VAST=1&tt=t_acunn_midroll_800x700&rnd=34526894270"

But, for some reason, the ad in VAST response expands outside of the 87 high region. That's not great and clearly something is going wrong in the RC releases with this type of SWF overlay.

No - I think it's a problem with the OVA RC... we changed the way scaling rules work, and I suspect there is something about the SWF affecting it.

Hi,

I've finished a fix for that SWF masking issue on the auto-sized overlays.

Here's a test example using your setup:

Would you be able to confirm that this looks all ok to you? If so, I'll finish the final QA and check in the fix so you can use it :)

i don't know if this is relevant or not but when we fullscreen the video is it possible to position the overlay ad above the controlbar?
