Can metadata be injected into h.264 files (with the mp4 container) with the same tools that can be used for FLV files? Especially YAMDI?
I'm looking for keyframe insertion. Thanks.

i use vegas pro 9.0c and the mainconcept plugin to encode my mp4 files. is there another mp4 encoder that adds keyframe metadata?
Premiere Pro CS4 gives the option to include source XMP Metadata with just about everything you encode... I've never actually tried it though as I have no need for that in my workflow.
Check out this application also if you are having issues with MP4 files - http://renaun.com/blog/2007/08/22/234/
Keyframes have to be made during encoding/transcoding. If the video is already encoded, you can insert keyframes with an encoder in the copy mode, so you don't have to re-encode the video.
The time/byte-position creator/injectors are just for FLV. They only create and inject the metadata, no video or audio.
