mp4 video not playing

Hello,

I'm trying to get the latest player to work with some mp4's I've downloaded. The player plays the mp4, but only the audio. I've tried several mp4's but they all have the same problem. flv videos work just fine.

Could it be a codec issue? Or maybe some setup that I haven't configured correctly?

I've tried adding "type=video" to the flashvars. I have the latest flash player and the problem occurs the same way on all browsers. Although IE says there's a js error.

I'd like to try an older version of the player, but I can't seem to find an archive section.. :(

Look in the source here for all releases.

Use MediaInfo from SourceForge to check the codec type. Flash supports H.264 in the MP4 container.

Yep, I'm getting the same issue when uploading a .MP4 file. Just Audio plays and a black screen.

It's encoded to a TRUE mp4 file, so something is wrong.

@Spizy,

If you post a link to the MP4 file, someone may be able to analyze it and advise you how to fix it. A link to your Test Page would also be helpful.

Your video file is fine. It plays correctly in the JW FLV Player.
