Final Straw - Back to slow buffering/searching/skipping on youtube html playlists

Hi

My jwplayer is setup as a wordpress plugin with xml playlist here: www.diwireless.com.au.

After months of having major buffering/hanging issues when trying to use the searchbar to skip to different points of my mp4 files (small 3min and large 35min) I finally decided to link to youtube urls in my xml playlist and this made searching/skipping to points as good as it is on youtube. Fantastic.

Then the issue arose re youtube support in jwplayer (http://www.longtailvideo.com/support/blog/17773/a-word-about-youtube-support-in-the-jw-player). Fine - eventually got it working again with the temp fix Longtail provided. Working just like it was before. Thanks.

Now for some unknown reason I am BACK TO SQUARE ONE with horrible hanging/slow searching when using the searchbar to skip to points of the media - particularly long (35min) files but even on small 3min ones.

What happened? What changed this time? Has anyone else experienced this?

To be honest, as a person who is obviously not a developer, and self taught in building my site - I have struggled SO much with trying to get the JWplayer to perform the way it is promoted/seen elsewhere that this evening I started looking at other media player options - and will be making the switch if I can't get this fixed one (hopefully) last time.

I hope someone can please help on this thread. Many thanks.

Rohan

I don't see any issues on your site.

Ethan. When I watch it through JW Player on diwireless it just hangs. Maybe it eventually plays, I don't know.
Fact is, if I go through to YouTube it starts almost straight away.

Hmm, it loads for me quickly, but he is using the 5.4 AS3 build that we never officially released. He should just update to 5.9
