Hello,
I'm trying for a long time to load a rss feed generated by wordpress in a longtail video player displayed on myspace.
To be more precise:
I have a feed with podcasts items generated from wordpress. This wordpress category contains articles which contain an image.
I want to take those images, insert them in the generated feed so that the longtail video player use them as thumbnail for each different items.
As the thumbnails are defined by the tag <media:thumbnail>, I tried a plugin for wordpress ( http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/mrss/ ) It is supposed to push the first image of the thread now defined as the <media:thumbnail> item on the feed.
My feed was previously valid and burnt with feedburner.
When I activate this wordpress plugin, and if I read the modified feed I can see the lines added with the <media:thumbnail> tags for each podcast. That's perfect.... but...
The problem is that this feed is no longer recognised by the longtail video player. I tried so many way to fix this issue, but I cannot find anything to push the first image of a wordpress post as the thumbnail image of a RSS playlist.
Have you got some ideas about how to do that correctly and keep this feed valid in order to use it as a "thumbnailed" podcast playlist?
