Image rotator cropping images incorrectly

7 replies [Last post]

Hi, I installed the JW Player image rotator on a client's site here:

Everything looks good on my computer, but when her husband loaded it on his computer, the photo appeared cut off. You can see a screenshot of the two different views here:

They are both using Firefox, so I don't think it's a browser problem. Anyone have any insight into this? Thanks!

The image rotator doesn't handle images over 1024px correctly. Re-size the images to be less than 1024px.

Thanks for the advice. The client tried that and it didn't work. Also, the horizontal pictures that she had originally uploaded were smaller than 1024px and still caused a problem. Any other ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks!

I'm having the same issue. When viewing vertically oriented images in the embeded player, they get cropped. When viewing fullscreen, looks fine. images are smaller than 1024px.

@Rob,

Player or Image Rotator?

A link to your Test Page would be helpful.

@Jeanette - I'm having the same problem! I tested it out in IE and still the same thing happens.

For anyone who can help, here's a link to my test page. Any advice is much appreciated!!

@Danielle,

Your blog software is chopping off the Image Rotator's display area.

You have told the Image Rotator to be 568x344 yet you are only giving it a space of 441x344.

The poor thing's squished.

I wish i could see any image nothing at all just constant buffering ?
