HTML5 streaming format for Android

JW Player 5.9 applies HTML5 to the default playback mode on android devices.

According to the document 'Supported Video and Audio Formats', HLS is supported, only on iOS in HTML5 mode.

What streaming format should I use for Android in HTML5 mode?

(FYI, I am planning to use Wowza media server.)

I don't understand what you've meant.
Isn't M3U8 a "playlist" file format?

Though I found the link below, it doesn't work on my android phone (proyo).

M3U8 is an Appple Streaming format.

Android only supports M3U8 as of 2.3+, it doesn't work in 2.2.
