I have found the longtail JW video player very useful, but since i have started reading the terms and conditions of it's use i am now wondering whether or not i need to apply for a commercial license.
I will be using it for a site that will have ads, however the ads will not be placed or interact with the JW media player in anyway shape or form. The ads more or less are to help me maintain the server which the site is one.
so that leads me to the question, is that within my rights as a non-commercial license "owner"? the rule on the preview page specifically states that "websites with any advertisements" are not allowed. Does this mean ads on the player itself or all ads on the site in general?
-Thanks

Daymon,
Typically, if you are using the JW Player on a site that also has advertisements (in-stream of not), we ask that you get a commercial license.
What's the URL where you will be using the JW Player? Pls send the URL to Ethan (ethan [at] longtailvideo [dot] com) and he can assist you.
Thx
Dave
