We are a non-profit organization that does not sell anything on our web site. I plan to try to use the player to play testimonial audios and videos. The only "commercial" aspect of our site is that people do have a chance to make a tax-deductible donation. However, donations is not the focus of the site at all.
By the way, will this player work with both IE7 and FireFox 3? Thanks for the answers
So technically we don't have to buy a license, but we have to have the "JW" on the player when someone right clicks?
@Jake - If you're using the player for commercial purposes (you're a corporation or you have ads on your site) then you're required to purchase a license.

We are a non-profit archive of music and we intend to promote the music in the archive. We do have income from selling documents but it goes right back into the archival activities. Do we need to buy license? If so - is this a one time payment or is the price repeated?

Can a non-profit organization ALWAYS use the player without a license, if not removing the "JW" thingy, or are there any OTHER restrictions/exceptions???
It's also VERY confusing to me, that it appears this site promotes "monetizing your video" (with ads), presumably through use of the player, which sounds pretty dang "commercial" to me!

Adam: We do our best to define commercial on the Order page. Here is the definition:
The player is licensed under a Creative Commons License. It allows you to use, modify and redistribute the script, but only for noncommercial purposes. Examples of commercial use include:
* websites with any advertisements;
* websites owned or operated by corporations;
* websites designed to promote other products, such as a band or artist;
* products (e.g. a CMS) that bundle LongTail products into its offering.
That said, we regularly check this forum to answer questions.

Adam: Yes, this is a commercial use. If you would like to use our AdSolution, then you should purchase a commercial license.
@Doug - you're welcome to use the player w/o a license as long as you don't remove the "JW" attribution when users right-click the player. And yes, the player works in all browsers.
