NextGen Gallery Slideshow

I have purchased the license so that I can remove the logo from the player. My question is, what exactly do I need to do to remove the logo? I thought maybe I needed to upload the licensed ver of image rotator but that did not make the logo disappear. So what do I need to do?
Thanks!

Hi Sharon,

You just need to download the licensed version from - http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/commercial-license/ and upload it to your site.

Ethan, I don't get it as well!

For one of my projects I only need the image rotator. Like Sharon I have uploaded the licensed version of image rotator to a commercial website, but the logo does not disappear.

When I upload the licensed version of the flv-player to my website my slideshow is not working. :-(

I am trying to run the WordPress NextGen Gallery plugin with your image rotator, but I do not understand the difference between the image rotator and the fly-player.

Can you please explain in more detail what to do in order to get this running?

Cheers

Markus

Hi Markus,

Can you show me a link to where you are running the rotator on your site?

Hi Ethan,

thanks for getting back to me. In the meantime I have figured it out myself:

In order to get it running I have replaced the swfobject.js file in the nextgen-gallery/admin/js directory with the swfobject.js file from the licensed mediaplayer (not the imagerotator!) download.

I'm trying to do the same with a licensed version of Image Rotator. I've tried what Markus has done, and that has not worked. Could you please advise how to remove the watermark....

You can only remove the watermark by downloading the licensed version.

Hi Ethan,
I'm also trying to use the imagerotator with Nextgen Gallery. So like most people I just found out that if I don't buy a licensed version I'm stuck with a logo that is messing with my site SO I'm trying to figure out where to buy it now, which has proven to be a little more work than it should.

WP sent me to the page:
http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-image-rotator/
where it's simple to get the free version but there's no link or button or clear direction there to where or how to get the licensed version of imagerotator.

I looked around a bit in "Order License" and it's not exactly obvious which product I need to buy to be able to use a clean version of imagerotator with WP NextGen Gallery or how much this is going to cost. :!

Help please.

Thanks!

As I mentioned in my previous message I already visited that page. The not so obvious next step is which of the 4 products or its version do I need to buy since none are called "Image Rotator License"?
If we're talking the 'Player License', why so expensive - almost $100?! This is for a WP site. :!

The only file I'm using right now for my purposes is a file called imagerotator.swf. Someone mentioned above that the only way the logo was removed in their site was by replacing the swfobject.js, not the imagerotator.swf? That's confusing and not clear/explained anywhere else. :!

All of this makes me feel like I'm put against a wall and a hard place - and there's an easy way to resolve that.

Some more insightful help would be nice - especially for this price tag.

Hi,

Our license is in a bundle, and it covers all 3 of our products. (Silverlight, Flash, Rotator).
