I've had JW player installed for a while and havent had any issues. However I noticed today that my videos where not showing up. Is anyone having the same problem? How can I fix it? Thanks.

Same problem here, (some) youtube videos won't work.
Seems it has something to do with 3D enabled.

Could the three of you each post a link to a page which demonstrates the issue?
http://watchdocumentary.com/test/jwplayer.htm
Test page might be removed a few days from now on.
With or without the HD plugin it displays the same behaviour.
Trace is right, this is related to the new YouTube 3D settings/conversion. We notice this happen yesterday when we uploaded a video. At the time we didn't know it was related to the new 3D option, one that we did not select when uploading.
Sure enough today, the issue happened again on a sister site. We deleted the video and uploaded again. Worked fine for 30 minutes and then stopped. We noticed that the video player on the YouTube page was marked with the 3D icon. When we went to edit the video to toggle this off, the settings were already set to off. YouTube converted the video despite the settings.
The commonality between the video from yesterday and today were they were both on the short side, under 1 minute long. Our longer videos have yet to be converted.
As a test we did convert another video and it did indeed break the player.
Maybe YouTube is just testing the waters on a the smaller videos, but regardless if this is going to be an ongoing thing for them a solution will need to be found.
Hi, all.
Thanks for the feedback. I've submitted the issue to the YouTube team. Hopefully, a fix will be in place shortly.
It appears as though the 3D options have disappeared from these videos, and they look like they're working again in the JW Player.
Interesting the video above plays for me. However I still have the same problem here - http://www.englishriviera.tv/exmouth-mussels/exmouth-mussels-we-harvest-mussels-from-the-river-exe-v...
@John -
Your video is actually working OK for me as of right now.
Hi Pablos
Interesting. So it doers not stall for you after five seconds and then carry on? I have four computers here and they all display the same issue. Virus scanners are run everyday and I get this in all browsers.
Let me try outside this building and see what I get. I will let you know.
@John -
No, it doesn't stall for me. Plays smoothly all the way through.
This is nuts ;) I have now tried this with different computers in different buildings with different ISPs and I get exactly the same results. However if I install the JW player stand alone its fine. If I look at it in my site it stalls.
Stand alone - http://www.englishriviera.tv/jwplayer/
Both on the same box. Both the same video. Can you check for me please? The one on my site stalls after about 6 seconds, then carries on, its always in the same places in the video
@John -
The player version on your site appears to be quite old. (A variant of the 5.4 player - over a year old). Your second example is the most recently released version, 5.8. Try upgrading your player and see if that makes a difference for you.
FIXED! That was my problem the player needed upgrading. Normal service is resumed. Thank you for your help.
Hi, I've got a similar problem! I've linked the player to a YouTube URL and it has worked like a charm the last six months.
And I swear it was still working yesterday.
But today, It just keeps on loading, without playing the movie.
(The movie still works on the YouTube site, so nothing changed there.)
Anyone an idea?
Thanks!
