Integrating BotR with DFP Video

Hi all - I've been searching the forums and haven't found the answer yet... perhaps I'm looking for the wrong thing.

We have content hosted on BOTR and use the simple inline JS URL to display our videos on our site. We're starting an integration with DFP video now and I had a few questions:

1) What version of the JWPlayer does BotR use? AS3? Flash?
2) Do I need any plugins to get this to work properly? Our goal is to use DFP Video to stream preimarily preroll in front of our videos, and I'm confused about whether I need the OVA Plugin or something similar.

Thanks in advance for your responses!

Hi Jeff. We use a custom build of the 5.8 player with a custom embedder. This means that JavaScript-only plugins will not work, other plugins will. We plan to update the embedder to something that can handle JS-only plugins too around Q2 this year
2) I think you need the Google IMA plugin for Dart advertisements. This is loaded using "Custom options". The custom options fields can be found in the integrations setting of a player configuration.

Also: how many videos do you have and how many streams do you generate per month?
Do you want DFP prerolls for all videos or only some?

Thanks for the speedy reply! We're using some other plugins, so I *think* I know how to install as we have an integration with GAnalytics and one other as well. If integration is the same, I should be good. I believe we may have already purchased the OVA plugin -- I'll need to check with the dev team.

We only want to run ads on some of the videos for now - I'm assuming that I can set that option in the player and just serve DFP video preroll in certain players and withhold it in others. Companion ads aren't needed currently, but I'd like the option for that at some point down the road.

We're currently running a fairly high volume I guess -- over 100k streams this month.

Thanks for your help - will let you know what I find out!
