I found a few threads on changing the color of the HD button using the plugin, but can't get it to work with the BotR player when the HD toggle is automatically added.
I've been able to change the text ("is on", "is off") using my skin's xml file but the "HD" remains white. Tried adding a "color" setting alongside the "fontcolor" setting in the dock section of the xml file to no avail.
How can the "HD" color be changed?

Any chance that ability will be added sometime in the future? (being able to set the dock buttons icon color in the skin.xml file)
I'm sure it's more complicated than it seems, but it would be nice to have.
I'm afraid this is not on any short term roadmap at least; I heard that this had been looked at, but indeed had more complications than it seemed because of limitations in the skinning model.
Unfortunately it is impossible to change the colors of the HD button. There is no workaround for this either.
