Caption plugin in control bar ?

Hello, i'm a new user of Bits on the Run and i've also bough a caption license.
I've already a video online with a custom skin (lionslight), but what i would like is to have the caption menu in my control bar (so not a big CC logo on the top-right of my video, just something small in my control bar).
I don't know how can i use the captions plugin with BOTR.
Where should i put the caption files (assets, build, captions.js, captions.swf, captions.xml, doc, lib, scr, test)..?

I became the files via this link : http://developer.longtailvideo.com/trac/browser/plugins/captions

(For your information, i have my own ftp server so maybe I could save some files there)

Thanks a lot for your help! :-)
Bruno

We have already taken most of the work out of using the captions plugin when you use captions with Bits on the Run. In the videos details page there is a captions tab. Upload your captions there.

Then all you need to do to get the CC button into the toolbar is to set the dock property to false in the player details. You do that by editing the player, going to the integrations subtab and at the bottom you will find custom options.

In the left field enter "dock", in the right field "false: (without the quotes).

This will also move any sharing buttons to the dock.

Thanks for your quick answer! I'll try this right now.

Just a last question: can i change the "CC" logo in the control bar into another letter, or logo?

No, this is hardcoded I'm afraid.

Hi,

I tried this page : http://www.longtailvideo.com/support/addons/captions-plugin/15022/skinning-the-captions-plugin

But unfortunately, this doesn't work at all.
Can you confirm me that we cannot change the icon in the controlbar concerning the CC plugin?

Thanks.

I think this should work. Can you show me where you have applied a skin with a modified CC button to a Bits on the Run player?

In fact, the skin used on the page above is not working. The CC dock button doesn't look like that when you download the skin.

There is an example : http://clients.myclicngo.com/jwplayer/test.html

Thanks for your answer remco.

This may be broken in the Captions plugin. We'll take a look at it.

OK, I hope you'll find what's happening cause I can't use JWPlayer for my project (and its paid license).
I will use Video.js librairie instead.
