Thumbnails on Facebook

Hello,
I have published some videos on my page on Facebook. I have used Embed > share
One of the videos has a nice thumbnail, but the other has just got the name as link, thus making it impossible to runn the video "inside" Facebook, but just to open a bitsontherun-page to show it.

Why is this? As far as I know I have used the same player and settings.

Thanks in advance!

Did you post the video that does not run inside Facebook earlier by any chance?

Earlier our Facebook embeds did not show up in Facebook in HTTPS mode, but we applied a fix a month or two ago to make this work.

I also cannot get a Thumbnail when Posting in Facebook and conseqently the video does not play within FB.

I tried this with a new video yesterday and today. I also tried repost older videos that did post correctly in the past, but now are doing the same thing... i.e no thumbnail and not playing within the FB news feed.

Can you Help

Thx
Jim

In my page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tecknologen-AB/233284263377917) I posted one video dec 8 (which has a thumbnail) and on dec 15th a video that does not have a thumbnail. i did exactly the same each time.

The strange thing is that the video uploaded dec 8th have "wrong name" on it. it is the initial name, whick I later changed in Bitsontherun, but that change did not show on FB. The video posted dec 15th however, also had the wrong name, but after having changed it, the name also changed on FB. Without any thubnail, though...:(

I dont know if this could have anything to do with it - if thumbnails only shlow when the original name is used?

This is rather an impoftant issue for the use of bitson.. for FB

There was a typo in the Open Graph imaga tag generator that we fixed yesterday.

Things should work normally if you post them again now.

It is possible that Facebook has still cached an old version of the page, but If you enter the URL of the preview page to this page things should get indexed correctly again: http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

Not working :(
Do I really have to go via the http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug
every time I upload?

I just uploaded a new video - no thumbnail!

This works for me now with a new upload, so I have no idea why it isn't working for you without a link.
