Cannot connect or list '/' at FTP site (ftp.bitsontherun.com)

Okay, so I am trying out the FTP option to upload files larger than 100MB. I am using Transmit on OSX Lion. Here are the settings I'm using:

The error is:

Could not retrieve file listing for "/". Control connection timed out.

Here are my settings:

Protocol: FTP
Server: ftp.bitsontherun.com
User Name: <my email address, the same as I use to logon to this site>
Password: <same as I use to logon to this site>
Port: 21
Use Passive Mode: Unchecked (and I have also tried checked)

Is the site down?

Thanks!

We have seen that some people have had issues with Transmit, but unfortunately we have never been able to reproduce them in our office. In some cases I think I have seen reports that changing the path to "/" helped, but it might be possible that you will have to use another FTP client.

Adding "/" to the remote path worked in the Transmit settings window worked. Thanks!
