Hi,

I uploaded three .SWF files and all of them showing the following error:

Please note that the conversion of this media file has failed
(Media file contains no recognized video stream). Contact us if you
think this is shouldn't happen.

Can you please help us identifying what might be the issue? Is the issue with the files?

Thanks!

We don't support .swf files, as those are executable flash files rather than real video files.

Thanks remco. So, what are the types of files do you support?

You can find an extensive list of supported formats here: http://www.longtailvideo.com/bits-on-the-run/faq/#what-video-formats-can-i-upload

This forum is for videos uploaded to the Bits on the Run video platform, not for self hosted players. I would recommend that you look at your page with a tool like firebug to see what the path is the player is looking for.
