Watermark on transcoded video

I could not see watermark when i downloaded a transcoded file and viewed it from my desktop. The same video shows watermark when played from your server. My understanding was that the watermark gets imposed on the video when it is transcoded. Please correct me if i'm wrong. Thanks.

You can control watermarks in two places; the player and in the video themselves.

To have the watermark burned into the video, you will need to edit all your templates to include the watermark.

You can control your templates in the account tab.

My template includes watermark and i can see it when i play it from my browser using your direct link. But the watermark is not present if i download the video from the same direct link and play it from my desktop media player. This makes me think the watermark is not burned into the video.

That is odd. Can you give me a video key and template name where you see this happen?

Looks like i downloaded the file encoded with default 'H.264 320px' template. Files encoded with other templates that includes watermark are burned with watermark as mentioned by you. Thanks for the help.

Ah, yes, unfortunately it isn't possible right now to set a template for the lowest quality conversion. We're looking into improving this in the future, but I don't know when this is scheduled for.
