Hello,

I am new to bits on the run and i love the service. Before I upgrade to a pro account I just want to make sure I understand the pricing structure.

So if I upload a 5 min video and that gets viewed 20,000 times how much usage is that?

or do i not get charged for people viewing the videos?. And only get charged for storing and size of the files I am streaming.

Thanks for the help.

The platform usage is only based on the combined filesize of videos in your account.

The delivery component depends on the amount of GB delivered. A 5 min video viewed 20000 times means 1667 hours viewed. The amount of GB that that results in depends a bit on the resolution of your video and the size of your player. On average you should be able to stream 3 or 4 hours of video with 1 GB of delivery, so in that case 20K views would result in some 500 GB if delivery balance used.

It is very confusing to fully understand your pricing model. I'm an indie feature film producer and considering self distribution from my website using the PPV VOD and Download options.

What I need to understand is the cost per "Download" and cost per "Streaming VOD" of the movie. Here's the movie details...

High quality feature film 2hr long... with 1000 downloads per month... and 1000 PPV Streaming VOD per month.

Can you help?
