No Analytics - can't be true...

We've had our service for a while but just started really wanting to take advantage of it more recently.

We are hosting advertiser's videos so they'd like to see some analytics of course and for some reason, the analytics seemed to stop recording in October. We are able to see stats from before Oct 7, but nothing after and I know I myself have watched videos since then.

Something to know:

Around this same time, someone outside of our organization tried to upload a video into our FTP (through our own site we built in WP to accommodate this upload. This particular upload in question failed and that was almost in conjunction with when our analytics stopped. I am currently able to upload videos from this same interface (but only up to a certain size - something we're working on within our own site/host).

I'm hoping, albeit not desiring, that the failed upload broke something in our account for a while and it can now be corrected quickly.

If not, we're going to have to rethink quite a few things and it sounds like hard work!!

Any thoughts for me?

Can you post a link where you embedded a video that doesn't have any analytics?

It is absolutely impossible that this is related to the FTP upload.

Thanks for your response!

That is what I thought also but just tossed it out there because it seemed odd that the failed FTP upload occurred on the same day that the analytics stopped working.

Here is where there are some videos running: http://www.tedmag.com/tedtv.aspx?cat=trends

Here is the video upload page:http://tedtvupload.com/upload-video/

I'm now wondering if there is something else that could be "wrong" with our account. Or maybe it's how the player and videos are set up?

Nothing about our setup changed around this time but I thought you might benefit from understanding how we use the service... We use a CMS that employs the JW Player. Most of the time, that player is just playing something we have on YouTube. We really haven't utilized the hosting service much, we only have it so that we can take "private" videos and host them somewhere if a client refuses to post them as private on YouTube.

All that said, we've been able to monitor our views through the JW Player until Oct 7...maybe it's something that changed about the JW Player? Would you know that information or would I need to go a different route?

There is no Bits on the Run player on this page. This is the forum for the Bits on the Run hosted video platform, I have no idea why this doesn't work, you should ask this in the appropriate location.
