Unable to switch to RTMP & 'save' in Dashboard

Hi , the title explains the question. Since the upgrade this morning we've not been able to 'save' to RTMP. It tells us that it has saved the player settings , but it doesn't & stays on the 'progessive download' setting.
Any ideas.

Thanks
Paul

RTMP has only been enabled for accounts that were created since some time 6 months ago; accounts that were created before that time always used HTTP dynamic streaming and still use that because we didn't want to change anything all of a sudden. If you can give me your account key (only the key not the secret) I can switch over your account.

Hi Remco, I'm sure we always had RTMP (have had an account for over 6 months).
In any case, here are the keys>
We have two accounts
1. This is an AWS account: AsCLOGxY
2. This is a reseller account: EKXXGDdg

Many thanks.

Indeed, the error is elsewhere. So when a new player has been created, bitrate switching works just fine. As soon as a player has been set once to use a single template, changing it back to bitrate switching doesn't stick. I have asked an engineer to look into this.

Yes, that's what seems to happen. Hopefully it is sorted soon.

Thanks Remco,

Paul

There was a bug in the dashboard that saved the bitrate switching setting incorrectly, this has been fixed now and pushed live in production.

Thanks Remco.

Happy christmas.
