Will be great if can show a preview image in thumbnail ,for a specific seond from the movie for example or at least for the first second.
I am still searching a solution for this.

I'm also looking for an answer to this question. Can I use eg. first frame from video as thumbnail instead of showing the blank JWPlayer plugin until one press the play button?

@Sergio - You will have to host an image on your server, and using the "image" flashvar.
I too am trying to figure this out. I see how I can do it manually, but I would like to do this automatically. did you ever figure it out?
