Premium Ads Acceptance Criteria?

6 replies [Last post]

Apparently Google Ads have rejected my premium ads application.

Does anyone have any idea what criteria they base their decisions on?

Thanks!

To answer my own question, I found the following info over at the application page to join Adsense for Video ( https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/request.py?contact_type=video_joinbeta ):

# Viewership primarily based in the United States, English language
# At least one million monthly video views

I guess the same may criteria may apply if applying via Longtail.

Personally I'm nowhere near that many views yet so I may just be better off embedding my YouTube partner videos (with ads) to monetize my videos.

@Nick - LongTail's AdSolution has no minimum commitments of video views nor language. You're welcome to apply here, regardless of your traffic:

Adam, I'm specifically talking about Google Adsense, not Longtail AdSolution in general.

Very strange how they rejected me. Google could at least give a reason or even a clue. ScanScout approved me.

But then YouTube arbitrarily deleted two thirds of my videos when I submitted them for revenue sharing, even though the music was all royalty-free etc.. No idea why they deleted those 26 and left 13 online.

@Nick - I understand your frustration, but unfortunately I have no insight into why Google or YouTube would have accepted or rejected you. However, when users apply to LongTail's AdSolution, we submit all publishers that have premium content for approval to ScanScout, Google, YuMe, etc. When using LongTail's AdSolution, Google waives many of their criteria, as LongTail helps publishers get live so Google doesn't have to do the work. Hope this answers your question.

I think you must have millions of impressions daily
