I have spent the past couple days trying to figure this out. I think I have seen every example there is to be seen. If I missed an obvious answer, apologies. At any rate, here is my problem:
I use my site to post videos from various airshows. There are about 150 videos per show and about 12 shows a year, so I have tons. My current setup is on this page, which I made to test streaming video using the Silverlight WMV player.

As you can see, I have an iframe containing a page listing all of the videos from the show (just a short list for testing) and a click sends the file to the player on the parent page.
What I need to do is figure out a way to have a direct link that not only points to the specific airshow page, but also starts playing the specific video. Ideally there would be some automated way (or no need) to setup the links, so I don't have to do a few hundred by hand every few days.
I don't know enough to make scripts from scratch, and I have no idea what I would be able to modify to fit my needs. I've seen a few mentions of Bits on the Run in my searching, but I definitely don't have money for anything like that.
I really hope someone can help me out with this because I need to get direct links working before I can implement this.
