I just added the Tweet It and Facebook It plugins to our player and they are completely white (almost like it is only showing the mask layer). I gather from the example they don't look this way. Any ideas? Is it a free vs. commercial issue?

It might be the skin / your color settings. I would mess with those to see what happens.

tried stripping down the player code to see if anything was interfering - no dice. Still white icons. Using v5 player. Any other ideas?

Using the Modieus skin which seems to cause the problem. however, if I declare a background color it will change the color of the entire icon to that color.

It is a bug with the backcolor flashvar and these plugins. Removing this flashvar will fix the issue. We are looking into the issue.

I realize removing the backcolor will fix the issue, but that will also revert it to the default color theme, which isn't an ideal solution, particularly for paid software.
What kind of timeframe are we looking at for a fix? Are we talking days, weeks, months? This site will launch next week so if it's not going to be fixed by then we will have to adapt I guess.

Just adding my voice to the crowd that would like this bug fixed. The backcolor is pretty important to the video player scheme, but makes this plugin almost impossible to read.

Do you have any idea when the new release will be out and will this be applied to all skins. Im using the beelden skin and once again it only shows white icons. I have extracted the files from the zip and it seems as if there is no icon listed under the elements, im assuming that this is where it needs to be refered for the player.
Any other suggestions would be great.
