Change Font color of infobox plugin

8 replies [Last post]

Hey there, I would like to change the font color of the infobox plugin. I already changed the background color by using "s1.addVariable('backcolor', 'black');" but i cannot find an way to change the black font color to white... Has anyone got an idea?

Read the documentation here:

    http://www.longtailvideo.com/addons/plugins/115/get-plugin.html?addon=115&q=

"Again note that the infobox plugin uses the backcolor, frontcolor and lightcolor flashvars of the player when set."

There is a bug in the infobox plugin. If you switch to fullscreen when the movie is playing - the infobox comes on top again. You have to stop/start the movie again to make it disappear. Please fix! I have player version 5.1

Also, It doesn't use the player's text color anymore in jwplayer 5.1.
You have to use the flashvar infobox.color

...and it blocks the buttons of the sharing plugin when they are not in the dock. (Can't click them when infobox is visible)

...and also blocks the fullscreen button.

We'll take a look at it.

Any update on fixing the bugs when using this plugin in 5.x?

We noticed the backcolor also defaults to black if you define any backcolor... no matter what color you define. undefined it's white.

Thanks in advance.

We won't be updating this plugin for V5 of the player. It's too much of a hassle to do so, while the plugin offers very little.

Instead, we'll release a javascript plugin example that displays how to show an ''infobox'' on top of / next to the player. This example will be part of our upcoming 5.5 release (javascript plugins). Since javascript plugins are easier to build, change and insert, you'll gain a lot of flexibility.
