Regular video won't play after toggling HD

Hi all,

I'm having some trouble with the hd plugin. It's off by default on our page, and the video loads up all right. I can click the hd button and the hd version loads up just fine... but when I toggle it off again, the regular video seems to be gone and won't load when I click play. I can switch HD back on and it plays fine, but the only way to get the SD version back is to reload the page.

This happens in Firefox, Chrome, and IE on Windows 7. Not sure about other browser/OS combinations.

Test page is here: http://www.sportys.com/robin/vidtest.html

Anyone else have experience with this issue?

Thanks!

Which version of the player do you use? There may be an issue there ...

We have the licensed 5.8 version. (Although I think we are using a skin from back when we had 5.5... didn't think that would make a difference but maybe I was wrong?)

No, that shouldn't make a difference. I'll investigate:

I kind of fixed it! It works when I add the file to the setup options instead of using levels. (Feeling a little bit dumb now...)

It would still be nice if it would work just using levels though. On the actual site we're setting the file name dynamically on the server side, and not all the video files exist in all formats. So there's going to be a little extra work involved to avoid giving it a file that doesn't exist.

Thanks for the help though! :)

Ah, that was the issue. I also didn't see that one. Good to have it fixed.

For 6.0, we'll definitely want to build the HD toggling into the player, leveraging the "levels" setup.
