skin code placement question

I am using the script of Geoff Stearns and I do not know where to put the lines so.addVariable('skin',"/bla/bla/skin.swf"). I have some understanding of javascript but not much.

Could you please help me and I also would like you to put the answer also in the tutorial as I hope many people will face the problem I have.
