Struggling to make a minimal playlist...

7 replies [Last post]

Was wondering if anyone can help me out - I'm struggling to adapt a skin to suit what I'm after. Basically, I run with playlist to the right, no pictures, no descriptions, just titles. I want to shrink the font and ditch everything else rather than with empty spaces where other info would normally go.

Have had several attempts at it but can't seem to get my head round it at all... everytime I try, the exported skin won't load and just leaves me with whitespace in place of player. (Am using CS3, have followed tutorials but they don't give any advice on what I'm wanting to do)

Want rid of the black space under each name, and the font down to 8 or 9 to cope with longer filename display...

I'd like to know how to do this, too. I'm primarily using the player for music, so I don't need any picture icons in the playlist. It's just taking up space.

I hope someone would tell us how to do this.

I also need something like this. Compact playlist.

Thanks

Just had a quick go at this, seems you need to target the 'back' MC, nested in the 'playlist' MC. Just reduce its height. Worked for me? See screenshot:

That's pretty cool man. Where did you find that skin? I don't see it anywhere.

It's one of our own, but we don't have it with a compact playlist, that was just to show others how it can be done.

This is near impossible. I have tried for DAYS to get all this stuff to work with no luck.

Marci:

Try using the skin "Modieus (Stylish) Slim"

Like a lot of these things, it accepts the "title" and "creator" tags. Player 3.16 is easier to work with ...
