installed jwplayer on my wordpress a while back to use with mp3 files only. it was working on ipad, but it stopped. don't know what happened. just appears a black rectangle and no sound. only updated and the new versions seems even more compatible with html5... any ideas on what might happend?
thanks!

Np.

I see the player here - http://matildemeireles.com/1701

On the iPad, it is too small, you just need to make the width / height bigger, and it should be okay.

ok thanks, will try that.

ok, tried but didn't work. width is now 960px and height 50px and still doesn't work... you can try with the same project. any ideas?
choose this player because it was the only one I liked aesthetically and it worked on all platforms :-/ can't understand why it stopped working...
thanks,
m2

Weird, did it stop working recently? Did you make any updates to your site at all?

Reply

yep, exactly what I thought. I did. from both, player and wordpress... wrong?

What about the WP plugin, is it up to date as well?

Reply

yep. updated to 'Current Player: JW Player 5.9.2118'.

That's the player version, not the WordPress plugin version.

sorry, that's right... 'Embed a JW Player for Flash and HTML5 into your WordPress articles. Version 1.5.5'

Ok, that is the latest version.

What versions of the player, the plugin, and wp, were you using before it stopped working?

ouch... can't go that far. the previous one, I believe. the thing is as I don't have an ipad, I stopped checking as soon as I confirmed it was running on all platforms.
should I go back to the previous one?

Reply

Yeah, Maybe try that?
