I downloaded Modieus several times - but can't find the ZIP file to put on the server.
There is only a folder downloaded???

You are supposed to download the zip, and then not extract it. It you are on a Mac and using Safari, check your trash. I think OS X automatically does it for you and then deletes the zip.
