Skinned HTML5 <video> controlbar looks amiss

Hello!

I've been embedding HTML5 videos recently on my site, using my own custom skin, based on the glow skin but using my own assets.

Something odd is happening though.

When I load a page with a <video />, the layout of the controlbar looks a bit nuts — the progressSlider is sitting underneath the page, various elements look wrongly sized or positioned: http://i.imgur.com/xudWk.png

If I resize the browser window, it corrects itself and looks as it should.

Kinda weird.

Any ideas?
