Hi,

Can you tell me how ...Hi,

Can you tell me how to implement Adtonomy with Bitsontherun?
Also will adtonomy insert video ads randomly?

Does Adsolution serve video pre roll ads or only Adtonomy?

Thank you for your help I am a little confused with this becasue searching Adsolutions it makes it look that it also serves video ads as preroll.

Thank you,
Victor

Answers to those questions also interest me !

Lets make mine a little more precise...

Is it possible to set a bitsontherun hosted video as a single Preroll ?
Is it possible to set a bitsontherun hosted channel as a random Adtonomy list ?

All this comes to : is it possible to host video preroll on Bitsontherun ans use its ability to agregate contents in lists ?

Thanks !

Hi Yann,

It is possible to use Atonomy with Bits on the Run, but Adtonomy does not work correctly with mp4 files yet, so using hosted Bits videos as the ads would not work yet, unfortunately.

Best,
-Ethan

Is there anything new about support of .mp4 files with adtonomy ?
Thanks

If you are using an MP4 file, you can rename the extension to .flv, and it will work in Adtonomy.

Hi Ethan,

Is there any movement on being able to use BOTR videos as video for adtonomy? It would be a shame to have the speed of CDN delivery and have it bottlenecked by self-hosted ads...

Ta,
Stuart.

@Stuart Willis - Unfortunately, not yet. Adtonomy uses the FLVPlayBackComponent of Flash, and we have in our roadmap to update the plugin so it doesn't use this, and then MP4 files will work correctly, but the plugin has not been updated yet.

I am also REALLY interested in using my MP4 BOTR video as video ads.
When do you think this will be available?

Not sure of the ETA yet, sorry.

We're very interested in the for BOTR as well.

Yes, we are planning on updating the plugin to support this.
