Adtonomy Text ads Pop up blocker

Hi, we have a query re Adtonomy text ads.
We use BOTR, & noticed that some browsers (IE 8) blocks the pop up. I've seen that there are solutions on other postings (threads now locked), but as we've got limited access to the coding when using through BOTR, is there anyway to solve this?
