I am having trouble showing a movie in a web page. The movie has been coverted to FLV and F4V and its high res. 1200 by 800. It appears and plays fine. But when you click to make it full screen its contines to play at 600 by 400. It should not do this. It’s a screen capture and needs show as 1200 by 800 when viewed full screen. It there any way to fix this ? My code is below if its needed.
-----------------------------------
<script type="text/javascript">
var s1 = new SWFObject("player.swf","ply","600","400","9","#FFFFFF");
s1.addParam("allowfullscreen","true");
s1.addParam("allowscriptaccess","always");
s1.addParam("flashvars","file=video.f4v&image=preview.jpg");
s1.write("container");
</script>

Your video file is probably lacking the metadata to tell the player what size it is.
Can you post a link to your video file?

Its here as html
and here direct to the f4v

Thanks
I used Adobe Media encoder 4 to make the f4v

Can you recommend any meta editors for F4V on Windows ?

According to both the metadata and the video frames, your video is encoded at 1280x800, which is an aspect ratio of 1.6:1.
Your player's displayarea should be set to 600x375+20 or 600x395. If you are using a skin with a controlbar height that is greater than 20, add the appropriate amount to the player's height.
Your video correctly fills a player with a 600x375 display area. When I jump to fullscreen, your video fills the display (1280x1024) horizontally and is letter boxed, which is correct.
You can use MP4Box to change the metadata in a f4v video container. However, the metadata in your video file is correct and doesn't need changing.
Do you have your JW FLV Player set to stretching=uniform?

It seems the resolution seems to get worse as soon as I click fullscreen. Is there anyway to reslove this ?

I am still trying to make this work. Does anyone have any ideas why the player is slowing the course in low res on full screen

Your screen capture is very poorly recorded — no player can do anything about that.
You need to tweak the settings in your screen capture software — or try a different one.

hmm i dont think so!
The resultions drops as soon as I press full screen. Ni matter how higgh I make the res its still comes up poor when the movie is viewed as full screen.
Has any one got similar issues. Perhaps its a setting some where in the player that I have messed up ?
When the movie is viewed in a window its fine. But when you go full screen it changes. In order to get around this I have turned off the full screen fuction but I would rather it work.
Any ideas ? Oh I have uploaded a new file at 800 by 500 (approx).
