Hello. I am using the Longtail player with the wordtube plug in and it works, but I am having a couple issues. First, if I use the icon on my wordpress editor to "insert a flash video" it just shows "you must install the flash player to see this video" Obviously I have the flash player installed, but maybe the are not communicating? Any one have any ideas how to fix this?
The hack solution I have come up with is to simple use the viral plugin to embed the videos on my own site, but for some reason they are not tracking views either from my site, or others that embed. I am using the plug ins viral-1, gapro-1, but my analytics is not tracking the videos either.
so any suggestions (i feel like fixing the first might help with the second) would be greatly appreciated! thank you.

Hi Brooke,
It sounds like wordTube isn't working correctly. Are you see the video when you add it to wordTube's media manager?

Yeah I can see the video with the thumbnail in the preview and it plays fine on the media manager. But when i try and use the wordpress editor to insert the video file, nothing...
I wonder if it's a plug in conflict? I am running several other plug ins, including featured content gallery, which I have had conflicts with before...
thanks for your reply

Hi Brooke,
That is really frustrating. Are you using a custom Wordpress skin? Do you see something like [video id=X] in the page?
