Help adding an additional plugin.

Ok, although far from stupid, i simply cannot get my head around how to add the embed plugin to what i already have, which is this:

so.addParam('flashvars','file=001a.flv&autostart=false&plugins=hd-1,googlytics-1,rateit-2,tipjar-1&hd.file=001aH.flv&title=My%20Video&tipjar.title=Help us keep the site free.&tipjar.text=If you like what we are doing feel free to donate anything - but please do not feel you have to - thanks&tipjar.currency_code=GBP&tipjar.business=jules@the411show.tv&tipjar.show_pause=true');so.write('player');


If some one would be kind enough to simply add the embed-1 code correctly to my code above, i'd really appreciate it.

in the list of plugins, you should add embed-1:
plugins=hd-1,googlytics-1,rateit-2,tipjar-1,embed-1.
you should also add the escaped embedcode.

Ok, i see what i did before, and i've managed to get it on there, but now the embed button on the control bar sits on top of the HD button.

Resolved this bit of the post, but the embed button is still sitting on top of the HD button. I'm using the basic player skin. Anything i can do about this or is it either or?

Hi all, bumping this up as it is still faulty, at least the embed button is still sitting on the HD button.

Do i need to submit a ticket to get it figured out. I have licensed the player, if that helps any.

Bumping as it still sits on the HD button and i relly was hoping someone would either know what to do about it or be aware that it is either the embed or the HD button.

Hi Jules,

There's a known issue with the rate-it-all plugin and embed plugin.

I'd recommend taking the following steps:
- Upgrade to the 4.5 version of the player
- Switch from embed to sharing (http://developer.longtailvideo.com/trac/wiki/PluginsSharing)

Anything new on this? I desperately want to add rate-it to my videos but have no desire to offer sharing.

@mr220088,

The sharing plugin offers much of the same functionality as the embed plugin. If you want to offer no sharing, you can disable both.
