@Longtail Folks

I see a comment attached to several AS Files located in the ROOT/TRUNK/AS3 that your are now compiling the player using MXMLC. Where can I download either the build.sh OR BETTER YET the build.bat file. Do I also need to also install ant for things to work properly or does that only apply to the fl5 Beta? Sorry to need to ask but I haven't found any doc's that cover this yet.

For any other interested I am posting the answers I got from Ethan at Longtail. I decided to send an Email to there and I asked these 3 questions.

1. Can you answer yes or no, can I actually compile with MXMLC or do I misunderstand what I read?

2. Can you answer yes or no, Can you provide a build.bat?

3. Can you answer yes or no, do I need ANYTHING ( ANT for example ) other than the MXMLC to compile?

Here are the notes from the developer:

4.x can't be compiled via MXMLC without tweaking the code, which we don't officially support.

For 5.x the answers to her questions are as follows:

1. Yes.
2. No (we provide a build.xml to be used with Ant).
3. Yes: you need Ant and the Flex SDK 3.3 and up.

There's a note here that states you need CS4 to compile 4.6
.
