hello,

I am very interrested by the module AdSolution.

Different websites require different solutions, which is why LongTail allows its publishers to customize their solution. Choose among pre-rolls (ads before the video), overlay mid-rolls (ads during the video) and post-rolls (ads after the video). Check out the demos below and decide which one is right for you.


But what we can use the plugin AdSolution for our own advertisers?
or we must necessarily pass by advertisers partner AdSolution (rule affiliation adsence etc..?)

You can run your own advertisers. There are three ways to do it depending on whether you want to run display ads or video ads.

1) If you are interested in running you own JS display ads (300 x 250) into your video streams, sign up for the AdSolution and go to the "Run Your Own Ads" section of the AdSolution Dashboard (note: you must be approved by LT's publisher support team before you can begin using the LT Dashboard).

If you choose to run your own display ads, your ad inventory will be split 70% / 30% between your advertisers and LT's advertisers (of course, you will run YOUR ads on 70% of the inventory). We call this model our "Inventory Share" model. Under the "Inventory Share" model, you keep 100% of the revenue generated from your advertisers and LT keeps 100% of the revenue generated from our advertisers.

2) If you want to run you own video advertisements as pre-roll or post-roll ads or if you want to run you own Flash overlays that appear on top of the video as it plays, you can purchase plugins for the JW Player:

a) AdTonomy Video Ads (Run your own pre-/post-roll video ads

b) AdTonomy Text Ads (Run your own overlay ads)

3) Finally, LT has built plugins for specific video ad networks that you can purchase if you already have a pre-existing relationship with that network. Our list of video ad networks plugins includes: Yume, ScanScout, Tremor Media, Doubleclick Instream

My last questions before doing


You say

These three solutions are they independent or complementary?

For example: Suppose that my advertisers want to be present only on one page with the exclusivity of it and I have no advertisers to another page.

I can understand if I combine the solutions include 1 and 2?


To canvass my own advertisers, I orient myself much more on the latter.

Technically the plugin AdTonomy Ads are clickable links they flash is invisible to search engines?


Technically the plugin Classifieds AdTonomy Video is it that both videos are loaded into the cache is to play or they are independent of loading level.


And my last question, I downloaded a few days ago the latest version 4.5
I notice that when you click on the menu there and command SHARE iNFO

How do you put the translation into another language?

As you can see some technical questions whether AdSolution can meet my needs prevents me from placing an order to license and purchase plugin.

Is it not possible to have a trial period of a few days to make compatibility tests?
