To run your own ads, while in the “Setup” tab, click “Run Your Own Ads” in the submenu. The first thing you need to do is to give your ad tag a name in our system.
Once you have done that, copy&paste your ad tag code in the “insert ad tag” box. In the section below, you can target to what countries you want the ad to be served in. By default, we automatically target all countries to run the ad tag unless you make any modifications.
After you have completed the step above, hit save.
Now, you can preview the ad tag by clicking the Preview button to see how it will look like on the player.
Once you get to your “Target Ads”, you have the option to make further modifications to the targeting of your ad tag. In this section, you will see all “Websites” and “Channels” that have been created in your account, in addition to what ad units they are running. From here, you can target your personal ad tag to just a specific channel, or to all channels running under a website. Moreover, we give you the option to set a weight to your ad tag, which is useful if you have two or more ad tags running simultaneously. Essentially, the higher the weight the more likely the ad will be served under the Inventory Share Program as opposed to the other ad tags in your account.
