Basic Setup With SRT File

Here is a basic setup of the Captions plugin displaying an SRT captions file. It works in both Flash and HTML5:

If you prefer a black box around the captions instead of a thin outline, set the back option to true. This is useful if e.g. you have a small videoplayer or a script (Chinese, Arab) with much detail.

Here are the contents of the SRT captions file. As you can see, it is an easy to understand and write format:
