Skinning the JW Player

The JW Player now includes skinning through a separate SWF file that contains the player’s graphical elements and layout. Custom skins are easy to publish: by adding a single variable in the embed code, you can assign a new skin to the player (here’s an example). Either use one of LongTail’s Skins or use this tutorial to design your own.

Note: Skins are currently not able to be compiled in Adobe Flash CS4. Please use CS3 instead.
