SpotXchange empowers publishers to access a variety of advertisers -- brand marketers, local advertisers, etailers; and a deep pool of video ad types -- InStream, video overlays (InnerStream), and InGame video ads. Self-service publisher tools allow real-time access to stats and ability to call ads just-in-time and configure them on the fly.
While in the past it was necessary to write ActionScript code or hire a Flash developer to integrate SpotXchange's ad units, with LongTail's SpotXchange Plugin, implementation couldn't be easier. Simply sign up and we'll provide you with the necessary code. Then, simply add few flashvars to your player and you'll be ready to run InStream, InnerStream and InGame. Note that SpotXchange is a separate company unrelated to LongTail Video. Publishers wishing to monetize online video content with SpotXchange ads will need to contract with SpotXchange. Actual ad revenue generated through SpotXchange for individual publishers will vary based on a number of factors including publishers' content, reach, etc.
